As a society we love drinking coffee, with research showing that we drink 194m cups per week when we are out of the home*, and the workplace is no different. This was demonstrated by a quote we had when we recently conducted some research into coffee in the workplace: “Coffee is what makes our office. From our morning prep coffee, to the goal of working to a coffee break, to enjoying the taste of something well deserved”**.
So even if it’s free at work, employees want to be able to drink good quality coffee, which makes them feel valued and which also gives them a reason for taking a well-earned break every now and again.
But there are lots of challenges that employers and/or purchase decision makers face when looking at coffee for the workplace. Employers want their staff to be happy and to feel valued in their workplace. In slightly larger offices which may have a purchase decision maker, usually a Receptionist or Office Manager, the challenge for them is that they really want to feel like the ‘Office Hero’ with the coffee they order for the office, yet at all times need to make sure they are sticking within their budget.
This is why we have launched NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® into the workplace market. The Piccolo® White by De’Longhi machine is compact and lightweight to be used in the office, yet delivers a maximum 15-bar pressure to deliver coffee shop quality coffee. It comes with a manual lever which allows you to tailor your drink how you like it and is also very easy to clean, so you and your staff can spend more time enjoying your drinks.
We have a wide range of drinks, and even have choices for non-coffee drinkers: from Americano and Cappuccino to an indulgent-tasting Hot Chocolate and frothy Latte Macchiato and a Café au Lait option as well. All of our coffee pods contain fine roast and ground coffee beans, carefully selected for richness to deliver an excellent cup of coffee every time.
Take a look at the range of Dolce Gusto® coffee capsules on OPInfo as well as the Dolce Gusto® Bundle that includes the Piccolo® White coffee machine.
