In a recent announcement, printing and digital document solutions giant Xerox revealed some new production printer innovations to be launched soon.
The innovations, which were introduced via a recent virtual event held by Xerox for its main partners and clients, include new presses, improvements upon AI capabilities and automation additions to aid printing speed and productivity.
Detailing each of the new production printer innovations, Xerox have unveiled the following additions and upgrades:
• Three new printer models capable of higher printing volumes along with extended colour options within the VersaLink and Versant range.
• A colour accelerator module for the Baltoro family of printers which expands upon inkjet applications and ink-saving automation options.
• The addition of fluorescent pink to the Iridesse Production Press which further enhances its metallics and white and clear colour palette.
• AI-enabled media manager software that enables high-quality images with shorter set-up time.
• Automated updates to workflow to seamlessly print embellishments with FreeFlow Core 6.0.
Expanding more on how the new production printer innovations will continue to benefit the end user, Tracey Koziol, Senior Vice President of Global Offerings at Xerox, explains:
“Print enhancement is the fastest-growing segment in print and Xerox offers the broadest set of solutions to help clients expand their business here.
The new technology and features we are launching expand the capabilities and profit potential of existing devices while introducing new presses that respond to demand for higher volume and extended media and colour palettes.”
Koziol adds:
“There’s a reason Xerox remains top in the production print market.”
Discussing how Xerox’s innovations commit to meeting business needs, Marybeth Gilbert, Vice President and General Manager of Production Business at Xerox, added her thoughts, commenting:
